App that watches all accounts?

There's a phone app I remember that centralises all you money. You login once, and it tells you what your credit cards, bank accounts and so on are all doing.

What's it called?

Do you really want to put your entire finances at the mercy of an app on a smartphone?

Who coded it? How can you tell what's happening to the account info and passwords you enter into the app? What do the T&Cs for your accounts say about this kind of thing? What happens if money goes missing and the bank says 'tough - you gave away your account security details to a third party'?

Or one of a hundred other security nightmares?

Use at your own risk. It gets really good reviews, but like cookie365 says, you're basically putting your finances at the mercy of an app.

Just to emphasize the risks of using an app like this:

    An extract from Natwest's T&Cs:
Please be aware that if you pass on your security details to an account aggregation service provider, you will be in breach of your terms and may be liable for any unauthorised transactions that occur on your account as a result.

    And Barclays T&Cs
In the unlikely event that you fall victim to internet fraud on your Barclays account, we guarantee to cover your loss, providing that:

    ...

It wasn't caused by your use of an account aggregation service (a service provided by another company that allows you to view all of your bank details on a single website)

(Although they say website, I guess that includes apps as well)

It's worth noting that they say "may be liable" and "providing that it wasn't caused by your use of ..."

This seems to indicate that they may only decline to help if the giving away of your account details played an active part.

FYI: I agree it's not worth the risk. Just saying that they don't seem to be saying that they will be completely unable to help if you use an aggregation service.
