Parking ticket

Hi

Went to Asda petrol station on way home from work, got rid of some bottles in the bottle bank and nipped in to the shop. Came out and we have a parking ticket from SMART PARKING. Didn't have a £1 to put in the machine and was only a few minutes. Do I have to pay the fine??

Thanks for your help

Have a look on the Parking forum. There's plenty of advice on there.

Did I say there was. Simply stating ignore may not be the right way to go about it, unless you live outside England & Wales. The general advice now seems to be about going down the POPLA route.
