Has anyone been to the Algarve late Aug early sept? Weather?

As the title really, I am looking to maybe travel to the Algarve late Aug into early sept and have researched the weather as best as I can but wondered if anyone had actually been at this time and what weather we should expect? It's central Algarve if this helps, any help would be fantastic as info from people who have actually experienced it rather than a weather chart would be great! Thanks.:)

I think its warmer than Spain , perfect, apart from the odd glitch but who knows

The weather will be gorgeous Expect around mid to high 20s, possibly early 30s C

I have been there during last week Aug and 1st week of Sept. and it was plenty hot enough and then some, no rain. Could be a bit breezy by the coast, not enough to affect us but it did cool the pool a bit more than I liked but not a problem away from the sea.
