HSBC student account T & C's

Does anyone know where I can find the terms and conditions for the HSBC student account on their website? I've looked all over and had no luck...

Hmm, doesn't seem to be anything there about what I was wondering - what happens to a student account if I leave university a year earlier than I was planning to when I opened the account. Not sure if I have to tell HSBC, or if I just get to keep the student account (and the interest free overdraft that goes with it!)

Yeah, thats what I was thinking, but I was worried they could turn around and say "oi, you didn't tell us you graduated, where's our cash?"...

From personal experince, they never asked for evidence if I graduated (I dropped out in my third year). On the rare occasions they mentioned it I just agreed with them about when I left but it didn't eactly come up very often. While I expect they would have been fully in their rights to demand immediate payment of the overdraft they gave me, they showed no interest in trying to find out if they could do so. Had they ever asked me directly if I graduated, or what grade I got I wouldn't have lied, but they just stuck me onto a graduate account when the time came and if they ever asked about the low income I said it was hard finding a better paying job, which was also entirely true (and, I am sure, also the case for a great many people who DID graduate...)

If you actually do graduate, just earlier than expected you are even less likely to be in danger.

Yeah, I'm graduating a year early. Cheers for that, hopefully I'll be ok!
