Daisyegg - TMI warning! No idea about the 'love juice'! I just try and keep my self raised or legs crossed after lol! I read somewhere that the strong little men will head in the right direction and the stuff that leaks out is lower quality sperm and seminal fluid, don't know if that is factually correct! Plus I suppose if they can't swim up without the right cervical fluid it's got to go somewhere!

AFM we're trying the SMEP method this month and are now in the 2ww, will try not to test early this time... Just booked a holiday for June so really hopeful for a bfp soon so will be in 2nd trimester - fingers crossed. I feel very chilled out this month about trying :-)

Hugs to all those that need them!

Can you give me any tips on feeling chilled out?! I just don't at all! :(
  • Sorry! I think it's cos I'm enjoying work at the mo and feel that we've done all we can this month DTD wise, plus we know two other couples in the same boat so not feeling the pressure as much!

Hope your doing ok Daisyegg, I work shifts so I know it's frustrating when work interrupts ovulation time.

I think we maybe caught the right time....not sure. It is difficult because hubby works very long hours and also travels for work a lot. Also,he has a child from a previous relationship who he goes to see every other weekend (although she is almost grown up now and he is reducing it to every three weekends, which might help) so it does feel frustrating if I can see on the calendar that he is just not going to be here. I can already see next month - he is away for a week in the US the week af is due, which is ok although sad I will have no support that week - but then he is away for another week mid February in the US again which, with current predictions, looks exactly like my ovulation week next month! So it is annoying.

Oops that turned into a bit of a rant, sorry!

I think for me as well, I am not enjoying work very much at the moment so I want to get preggers as quick as possible so I can leave! Obviously that is not the only reason I want a baby :o

Oh well, I am about to enjoy some very good wine and a nice pink steak, both of which I could not have if I was pregnant, so it does have its upsides!

Hope everyone is having/has a good weekend xx

I am the same. We managed ok timing this month but next month oh's rota looks a bit tricky so that will be another month wasted. So frustrating !

Oh and I am 3 dpo if I can be added to list please.
  • daise if finances and time (ie you can fit in with time off your job) cant you go with your other half to US etc - there are worse places to go! and you can combine work and pleasure so to speak, one things for sure it wont be as easy just to hop on to a plane and go once you have a baby

No, unfortunately not :( for a start, I am a teacher so I can't take time off work. Secondly, his US trips are usually crazy packed - often he wakes up in one state, has a couple of meetings there, flies somewhere else, has a couple of meetings, takes another flight and arrives in a third state often in the middle of the night, ready to wake up for 7am meetings and repeat the whole thing! He has been known to do four states in one day! Not conducive to the wife tagging along unfortunately :(
  • Totally feel your pain Daisiegg - my OH often works away. Every week he has to be away at least one night. This month it's looking like that day will be OV day. I know we can still dtd running up to that but still feels like we might miss out!

Am also a teacher so was hoping half term would fall in a nice place - sadly not - AF will be due then. Dammit!

    Hi Wendz!

Thanks for doing the lists Kelly.

I'm going to order some test strips from Home Health today, mainly because they will take a few days to arrive and stop me testing any earlier than Thursday!

Well I am spotting bright red blood....no idea why. A week and a half before af would be due and only about 5DPO. That coupled with the cramps I have had on and off has got me a bit worried :(

Not trying to get your hops up but could be implantation although sounds a little early.
