Can't quite believe I'm posting this but 14 cycles later, we've finally got our BFP (2-3 weeks) - what a cracking Christmas present!
Not sure we've done anything different this month to be honest - still taking the Pregnacare Couples tablets, and vitamin D - ooh not been taking that long to be honest.....maybe a month or two and just DTD the day before FF & CB said I OV'd so something finally worked.
Still waiting for blood test results from GP from my day 21 bloods last week and HB has got a SA test booked for late January so he's delighted he doesn't need that anymore.
After a year of TTC with nothing and referal for tests, it's happened so never ever give up hope ladies!

Yay bit like me!!!! well done hun!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Congrats Gelly
Could I be updated to 1DPO ... as I had peak smiley yesterday and that just means you will ovulate within 48hrs, i am going to assume that i OV'd yesterday rather than today i think :cool:Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
Excellent congratulations Gelly what a lovely Christmas present xx
Afm PMT symptoms arrived just in time so AF should be here by end if week :0(Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Kellykins - would you mind taking new off the lists? I didn't realise I was still on there! Thanks for doing them though.0

Well, I am pleased that my temp is high for a third day so FF has agreed that I ovulated on Sunday. We had sex Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I don't know that we could have done much more.
Now, though, FF has adjusted my af due date due to the later ovulation, and the witch is now due on my birthday! Rubbish
Hope everyone else is doing ok and although if the BFPs stop now it would mean I got the prediction for December right......I hope I was very wrong and they keep going and going!0 -
Laila Hope my post didn't sound preachy - I'm dreadful at remembering my tablets and eating properly so I'm certainly not on my high horse
Would be really interesting to hear what foods are high in folic acid and whether it does help. One good thing about having small boobs I guess, less to hurt!
When is your birthday Daisee? Must be close to Christmas? AF is also due for me around that time - cheers Santa!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
According the the NHS website:
Good sources of folic acid
Folic acid is found in small amounts in many foods. Good sources include:
broccoli
brussels sprouts
liver
spinach
asparagus
peas
chickpeas
brown rice
fortified breakfast cereals0 -
Not having a good day!
Woke up at 5am with urge to wee - went to toilet and yep, lovely urine infection/cystitis  So made appt for gp this morning as dont wanna leave it, what with having dodgy kidneys and all!
Saw GP - had a quick chat about the UTI and then spoke about hubbys impending SA and about how the BDing is probably whats caused the UTI....
She then prescribed Trimethoprim. Got home and no leaflet in pack so had a quick google just for instructions on how to take, ie with food/empty stomach etc. And saw a big notice saying this MUST NOT be taken when pregnant or trying to conceive as it hinders absorbtion of folic acid so its most important to avoid in the first 4 weeks of pregnancy. Everywhere i looked online (including nhs direct) said the very same. Rang Dr back and yes, "whooops I shouldn't have given u that"..... The WHOLE appointment had been mostly about TTC so what a mistake to make lol  I had already taken one of the tablets too (hence i then thought - ooops i should have looked to see how to take it) so just an extra little worry now as I am currently 2DPO so within the parameters of 4weeks etc.... sods law, i will probably get preggers now! Anyway - I then had to go back to surgery to get a new prescription for good old Amoxicillin!
Ouchio - i am in pain now and i HATE wee infections! They are real bugg*rs!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
