And the saga continues..

A few months ago i started a thread about having major issues with Evans Halshaw after purchasing a used car on finance - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4704935

Unfortunately, i am back to square one. The original issues have come back and are now much worse. More so, that i today took it to a different Evans garage for a diagnosis of my problems (rattle at idle and difficult to get in gear). To my suprise, they come back and say 'Yes sir, your right. Something is definately not right. The clutch is sticking during its travel back up from the floor, there's a damp patch on the bell housing and the rattle could well be either the Dual Mass Flywheel or the clutch plate'.

The guy kindly wrote up a brief report and signed it. The car is now booked in at the original Evans garage i bought it from tomorrow, however despite having a diagnosis in writing, i am fully expecting them to come back and say nothing is wrong. Now, the help i need is what do i do if this happens? For this issue alone, they have had the car 3 times. I know i am being very negative, but judging by past experience it's not going to be as simple as them replacing everything without a fight. With it being on finance, am i able/within my rights to ask for a replacement car?

Many thanks
Dean
