We used to have warm air heating but it was really old (30+ years)
Was brilliant if you'd just got out the bath, nice to stand over the floor vent to dry offit does heat the room really fast.
On a different note, I hope you have a carbon monoxide alarm.
Couple of years ago my CO alarm went off, it was triggered by a carbon monoxide leak from our old system (the big thing in the cupboard where the fan is, dunno what you call it).
I owe mine and DS2s lives to that alarm, we have had it for years and it did just what it's designed for. I think I even kissed it at one point
We now have radiators
Crikey dip dap! that's serious..... In fact, you've just reminded me that i need to change the battery in the smoke alarm  It beeped about 8 weeks ago (it's on the 2nd floor and I do have smoke alarms on the ground and 1st floor too) but it's still naughty of me
right, off to make a cuppa. I'm freezing in the office today, should have worn trousers or tights under my dressTiger

I have put the heating on and DD radiator is hot to the touch but the one in my bedroom is barely warm, valves and thermostats on full and 5.... Any ideas??? Thankyou
Lots of my radiators weren't working properly last winter and I wanted to sort them out before turning the heating on this year. So bled all the radiators this morning. Was quite funny as was about to start when a delivery arrived, delivery man asked me what I was doing as I had a screw driver in my hand, he then proceeded to tell me exactly how to do it and told me to make sure I checked the pressure on boiler valve. Good thing he did as had no pressure at all!
Any way, followed all his instructions and now have boiling hot radiators throughout the house)
Turned the heating back off again now though, want to see how long I can last without putting it on this winter. Currently sat with thick cardi on and big blanket!now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0
