Evening everyone, I am in need of your collective expert advise.
Dad has just turned up at my flat, after taking my sister into town. Just before dropping her off they stopped at a well known fast food outlet. Dad has parked up and headed inside with sister and after locating what they thought to be a door, headed towards it. Turns out it wasn't a door, but a window pane, and dad has walked into rather forcefully, causing his glasses to dig into side of eye and cut near his eyebrow. The cut is not huge but it is already starting to swell.
Manageress filled out accident form, but was rather unhelpful towards him. Worse of all is she openly admitted the window panes look so much like the doors this is not the first incident they've had, but I think this is first time it has caused bleeding.
Luckily he's got a reciept from their purchase and sister got contact details of witness, plus photo of window. Also taken photos and will see if the swelling grows by morning.
Issue now is with dad being self employeed, if eye swells up I doubt he'll be able to drive hence no work.
Is there anything I/we can do. He mentioned small claims court but neither of us have experience in it.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Hope your dad is ok Rebecca. Sorry cant help on other matter.0 -

btw - its our turn for the sun now
Yes, it is, It's been 30c all week. Accomodation is fine, thanks. Called in at B'B after the market on Sunday. See what you mean about not being such a pretty bay! But the sea was still a lovely blue/green colour and lots of people about. Parking was quite difficult though.
Forecast is still good but will pack some in my case for when I get back.0 -
if anyone is thinking of doing an APG for the special Ks it probably won't work given the items on promotion are all different prices
and thats if MSM reflects the 3 for £2 promo in the first place
A BM shop might work though :think:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Evening all. still catching up. This blimmin work lark really messes up my glitching:mad:
Just been playing with a Floflo order, and have got in my basket
21 various special K
3 Vanish 1.5kg
2 Pepsi 8 packs
the total comes to £61.95
after offers I calculated I will pay £21.99, less the £15 new customer discount(DH's:D, and through his as yet unused Quidco account)
Looks good if it works, what do you think? Worth a punt on C&C?
