    Speaking as someone who was so forgetful and preoccupied one morning I drew out £20 from a cash point and LEFT IT THERE, only to be chased by a man returning it to me....if it's notes I'd hand it in/attempt to find the owner. And if you can't, give it to a worthwhile charity.

    I also (I'm not really scatty honest) left my iphone in a hostel loo in New Zealand last year...realised when I was in town and ran back only to find it gone. Went to reception in tears just in time to catch a guy handing it in. Little things like that restore my faith in humanity.

    I've chased someone down the street before when they've not taken the money from a cashpoint. I usually work on the basis that if it was me leaving it there I would hope someone would do the same :)

    Double oops, I think I will have to travel to spend these, it would raise my profile a bit much to spend them in my local.

    My eldest son has worked the last 3 Christmas but this will be the worst as he has no leave and wont be back until April. Now he says he wont have as much leave as he thought so he is going back to Cyprus in May so we might end up doing a Christmas/Easter mash up :D
    The 1st year he had only just been posted out literally at the start of December so he was completely out of his element but the chap he was on duty with took him back home and he had a proper family Christmas with his 2 kids boucing off the walls.
    At least he has been able to call us on Christmas morning so at least its better than nothing. Where he is stationed now has good wi fi so he has skyped us twice already so at least we should be able to se him.

    I lost my dad 2 weeks ago. He was in a care home and he really didn't bother much with Christmas even when he was in his own home. Even so its going to be a hurdle to cross.

    On the bright side I will have youngest son and daughter home so I have to make it a very sophisticated grown up Christmas for them. I think youngest son will almost always be home for Christmas but daughter will be making her own nest sometime in the next 5 years - I think guilt makes her come home now :rotfl:

    I love grown up Christmases mhoc.....more so now than when they were children. It'll be a tough one for you but you will have friends here to support you:)

    Grrr!!:mad:
    Three pence APG and no comp. at all vs W. Despite the Strawberry Cornetto showing £1.75 vs £1.00 on msm. Worst I've ever done on an 'APG' shop - but, for what it's worth, the 10pack Bird's Eye Veg Fingers are a trigger that doesn't appear on the APG.

    Meant to get Bramley cooking apple. SP Mousse comparing vs 18p to M (even though I saw M at over 50p on theirs last time), but no real use at all due to useless amount of APG! SP Shampoo comparing vs half of M's price on its 1L one (technical glitch as should be non-comp.). Not that it matters.

    No explanation for the lack of comp. vs W as just says N/A under it with a star and doesn't let me click for any details. And the Granny Smith would have been better vs T or S:(:rotfl: (at 25p) on their very expensive price per g. loose Granny Smiths. Even lost 10p to the unnecessary (as it turned out) White Mouse. And no mention of the SP Dishbrush (25p) that I suspected would be a no-show and not go to the 8 (but testing to see if could use it as filler on later shop too) due to being a 'home accessories' item. Wanted 10 Veg Fingers pack and either Del Monte Orange Lollies or R White Lemonade ones. Neither of those two available.

    :mad::mad:

    I really should have stopped on not finding any Kale at the outset and gone home!! And thus done neither of the two following shops, one of which I suspect is another disaster.:rotfl:
