Speaking as someone who was so forgetful and preoccupied one morning I drew out £20 from a cash point and LEFT IT THERE, only to be chased by a man returning it to me....if it's notes I'd hand it in/attempt to find the owner. And if you can't, give it to a worthwhile charity.
I also (I'm not really scatty honest) left my iphone in a hostel loo in New Zealand last year...realised when I was in town and ran back only to find it gone. Went to reception in tears just in time to catch a guy handing it in. Little things like that restore my faith in humanity.Debt free 6th December 2014

the rates are extremely high so don't think any of the stores do cut price. If they did I would go more often
As for the Christmas market - its mahoosive. Think its the biggest one outside Europe. Its fantastic and its only few minutes walk from the train stations. But hope you're leaving cars at home - parking is dreadful
unless you park away from city centre and get the tram in

thick_tom wrote:when i went through self scan this afternoon there was a £10 note in the receptacle
.............should i have handed it in to customer service ??
Having worked on self service an awful lot (this weekend I have, tbh most weekend I do) I would say hand it in.
You never know how desperate that individual is for cash and tbh £10 is a decent amount of cash IMO.
Someone left £10 yesterday, I print out a till receipt. (Shows till number and time) and hand it in to my manager.
That way when/if that individual phones up. We can ask him what till it was (using his receipt number plus the time)
and 9/10 times they do get the money back
If coins are left I actually just stick it in the charity box. As 99% of the time no one will come back for pennies worth!0 -

:hello: So I guess it's 'glitch receipt' first then:D (as regards APG) - Avs W it was, with the 10pack Veg Fingers as an attempt trigger (no Belvita chocolate sadly so not a double-go) and, oh yes, I got the wrong apple as well:mad::rotfl:.
If only it was allowable to punch the lights out of everyone shopping in the store today:eek:. It would have been so much of a stress relief for me - but instead I was just :mad: inside as they were all in the way and going round the store so slowly and blocking every aisle up. Grrr!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: "Move, out of the way" I kept thinking to myself! Get outta the way...!! So, after an annoying afternoon instore and thankfully no punches involved, up to me to check how badly I did on the PG.0 -
