and was also used to make stews etc :eek::eek:
I feel rather queasy, I am going to have words with my mother tomorrow
Aww Mildred, Im sure the boil wash sterilised it.......as long as it proceeded in the above order
We had a 'sick bed' when I was a kid. A bed you slept in if you were sick. I never understood why, and still don't. I was an only child, what difference did moving out of my bed into an old fashioned, uncomfortable...with proper springs bed make?? We had an old washing up bowl that lived in the coal cellar that was purely for the purpose of being sick in :cool:0 -

, just irrating when people drink to the max that they have no idea what they are doing and cant remember anything, i'm all for having a good time but not when it affects others. Someone I work with came into work with a massive black eye he didnt realise he had it until he got in the shower the next morning and said his face stung then looked in the mirror
I have to admit in my younger days, I enjoyed life to the full. I once went out on New Years Eve, 6 days later I was pounced on my one of my dad's friends in a pub.. dad arrived shortly afterwards to take me home! I'd had a great time!
It is a right of passage for many youngsters, but hopefully they grow out of it quickly!

Asda vs Tesco
0.02 x ASDA Root Ginger per kg £0.04 N/A
0.19 x ASDA Bananas per kg £0.13 £0.12
0.09 x ASDA Carrots per kg £0.08 £0.09
0.12 x ASDA Onions per kg £0.09 £0.10
1 x Bounty Bar Milk Chocolate (4x57g) £1.79 £1.00
1 x Pilgrims Choice Mature Cheddar (350g) £4.00 £2.50
1 x Kenco Really Smooth Coffee (275g) £5.50 £3.99
1 x Soft & Gentle Sensitive Antiperspirant Deodorant (... £1.90 £0.20
1 x Birds Eye Crispy Chicken Dippers (12 per pack - 22... £1.62 £1.00
1 x Harvest Cheweee Milk Choc Chip Cereal Bars (9x22g) £1.68 £0.84
ANY Pilgims Choice should work - trigger ANY Asda own brand cheese
Bit more expensive than with Seriously strong - 800gm for £3.50 so £4.75kg
The coffee works again as my previous post :-
Buy the 275gm Kenco Smooth refills in Asda for £5.50. They compare at £3.99 with Tesco.
After APG they cost you £3.59ish BUT it gets better! :j
On each pack there is a code for 40 points, go to website, enter it & 65 points gets you 100gm of Millicano.. So therefore each £3.59 after APG gets you 275g Kenco +61g Millicano. That's a total of 336gms.
This means that for some pretty decent instant coffee (MUCH better than Nescafe IMHO) you pay just £1.07 for 100gms.
thank you. it's nice to have you back
I apologise if I offended you the other evening, it wasn't my intention.....my sense of humour is clearly not to everyone's taste sometimes. Please stay and don't be put off posting again0 -
