Tesco Delivery Saver poor performance

Signed up for Tesco delivery saver as we live about six miles from the nearest Tesco (Batley, West Yorkshire). I seem to have to phone every week with some sort of problem with the delivery. Today they delivered an out of date item which I need for guests tomorrow, so I phoned and asked them to re-deliver. They can't do that, I live too far from the shop. How unacceptable is that Mr Tesco. The reason I signed up for delivery saver was because I live six miles from the shop. If Tesco makes a mistake which they clearly have, then they need to put it right. Now faced with a trip out in the rain to replace an item that I paid to have delivered. A refund of the item which was out of date anyway and £3 in vouchers certainly doesn't cover my time, petrol and the inconvenience. Here's one unhappy Tesco Delivery Saver customer.:mad:
