in Credit cards
i recently had a tv fitted to the wall and wanted the wiring hidden in the wall. the company that did the work basically did a bodge up and are refusing to refund anything as i am now having to have more work done to rectify their shoddy work. i paid by credit card and have been asked to write in to dispute this transaction to credit card company. i always thought that there was cover if paying by credit card if something goes wrong?
does any one know.

The cover if paying by credit card that you refer to relates to section 75 of the CCA.

Whether you have a claim in this instance isn't easy to guess from your post.
Just wanting the wiring hidden won't be enough, it will depend on what you paid the fitters for, what the invoice detailed, how much it cost etc.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
How much was the cost of the original fitting?
Why did you pay if not satisfied with the job?0
