Dear all,
I got the link to moneysavingexpert.com today and am reading the whole day through the tips. Indeed it is very interesting and is full of useful information. I would like to double check if I understand everything:
In brief, I am thinking about getting 0% credit card(s) and transfer 3000 it to my current account and put them into a mini ISA. However I am not intending of transferring the balance from card to card and risk my credit history.
1) I make enough money in order to pay the 3000 back in 6 months. Which 0% credit cards do you recommend to get this 0% cash for my plan? What’s about the Amazon.co.uk credit card?

And Virgin?
Or Conran?
2) At the same time I would need a 'real' credit card with cash back option. I never use credit cards for spending money I don't have. So I think the cash back option or some rewarding option would be the right thing for me.
I guess the Blue Amex is the right option even I could get the Platinum. The blue has a constant 1% and seems more reliable to me since I won't spend that much money where Platinum would make more money. Conran 0.8 - 1% is also interesting; its Visa and more accepted.
By the way I got few days ago my HSBC Classic Master Card with 1500 credit. I hope this doesn't stop the credit companies giving me more credit cards.
Any comments?
Thanks
Houmie

They are headed "The Big Ones (read these first)", and "The Rest (for finesse)"
Post back if you need further clarification.

Agree with Yorkshireboy. One suggestion though - do ensure you have some spare cash for any emergencies, so that worst case, you don't have to dig into your ISA to repay even part of the credit card once the 0% offer expires. It's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!0

Hmmm I guess I go with a Egg Green card, since Virgin might charge something.
By the way I got a worthless dumb HSBC classic Credit Card (Master Card) from my branch. Their customer service was really crap. Its a pity I found this site just one week to late to understand how Credit cards really work. Does the Master Card makes my credit history bad since I already have a card? But green Egg is Visa and should be ok right?
Thanks
