Just found this site which basically lets you control your AV volume with your Sky(+) control.
http://www.hummer.co.uk/remote-setup.htm
Lots more info on digital spy forums about this stuff.
This is for Audio Visual boxes which pipe the sound independently of the TV. Great but means you need one control fot Sky and another to increase/decrease volume which is a pain.
This explains how to re program your Sky control to control sound.
I have just set mine up using the Denon code and have to say I am well pleased.
There is some other stuff about controlling various other appliances with Sky controls aswell if ur interested.

They seem to talk about Sky+ (plus) Remore controls... will it work on normal Sky R/C too?0

Yes and no. The normal Sky control will not do it if u had a Sky+ controller, u could use this to control your normal Sky box (I think) and program it to control your amp.
The reason behind it is that the Sky+ controller is that they are made by Universal Electronics who own the 'one4all brands' so have the components built in.
You could maybe pick one up off ebay but it doesnt work with the older versions of the controllers.
The best option would be to get Sky+!!!! It is def worth the money. I got it as a new customer by cancelling the Sky (which was in my girlfriends name) and ordering it as a new customer (in my name) for £99.
Have a look on digitalspy forums, I think its on there somewhere0 -
My outlaws had sky digital, and I manged to setup their remote to control the AV volume. Now they have sky digital, and being technophobes have no idea how to set it up. From what I remember of previous sky, it was dead easy to set it up, but also dead easy to mess it up.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.
