Think we're being ripped off, if European Euro tickets are 2 Euro..
We pay £2 a ticket because the 'extra' bit goes towards the millionaire raffle that is run on each draw. Can't Smile Without You0 -

someone has to win ;-)Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
Just a wee bitty worse odds than most of the competitions on here, but first prize is a heck of a lot better, and as they say, if you ain't in it, you can't win it! Certainly worth a pound a week. Not sure about two....0

The comps are free , The Lotto cost the gullible just under £7bn in the year to 31 March 2013.0 -
Well, some of these comps can cost up to £1.53:)
There are also a huge number of competitions which have brilliant prizes which are not included in this forum because they require purchases over that value. I'm sure many within this forum will enter these, even if it means a trip to Tesco to buy a tin of mushy peas which you don't really like, in the hope of winning a car or something. Despite the low chance of winning, I would not consider myself gullible for doing so; I am not forced into it, I do appreciate the odds and I accept the cost for the CHANCE to win. It's a better way to spend my money for amusement than killing my liver with beer (as I tell the wife).0
