My Survey - avoid!

I have been completing the survey for My survey and in the end they asked about my details where to sent a product to test at home. I got excited! I put my address and it asked me to validate my points. Pressed to validate my points and it came with "technical error". I came back to My survey site and checked that 80 points were not added and I will not get the product to try??? I was so excited about it!!!
How it can be? I will not receive the product to test and no points were added for no fault on my own? Is that because they dont want to pay people for the surveys???

My Survey has had errors on and off for many weeks now. There are numerous topics here so there really was no need to start another one.
Ultimately when you complete a survey with them it is a gamble whether you get the points. I completed 2 today, 1 was credited despite an error and the other was just an error, I refreshed and no points were added, I was then told I had already submitted by answers.
Occasionally points turn up days or weeks later and occasionally they send a nice reply back to e-mails, but usually they just give out a generic rubbish response about how points are added if you complete the surveys. Since they changed the layout and login of their website recently I've not had a single survey complete without an error.
Many people I know who use My Survey have cashed out and stopped bothering.
I don't believe they genuinely want to rip people off but that is happening more and more recently with the points not arriving but the surveys seemingly being submitted..!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I've been inundated with emails from MySurvey today, and not a single survey has turned out to be any good. Most of them have led me to a message saying I've already completed the survey. Don't know what's up with them.0

IMHO it's best to logon to the site and you will see what surveys are available. The email alert is not always showing which surveys have filled their quota.0 -

The problems that we are talking about are not really disqualification because of full surveys.
I log on via the website and the 5 surveys I have completed this week have had 3 different error messages. One showing I've already completed, when I haven't, one showing blah de blah number and site error and one showing 'Sorry we are experiencing a technical error' or something like that. Oh and one of the errors mentions an SQL error, it is ridiculous and times like this My Survey are definitely best avoided!
Also, I've noticed that when completing My Survey surveys through other websites, which I get the chance to do a few times a week, not a single error occurs - very suspect!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I can honestly say I haven't had a problem yet.
It's by far my best "earner" on surveys and I get at least £10 a week from them and never had an error yet.0 -

Yep, that's what I do when I get email alerts from MySurvey - log on to the site and work from the list of surveys that's on there. Yesterday I had a big list of surveys but none of them worked out, due to the weird 'you've already completed this' messages. I even had a message from them saying, 'thanks for agreeing to do our diary survey - please now log on and start completing it'. I hadn't agreed to do any diary survey, but logged on anyway and got a 'you've already completed this' message!0 -
I did do a diary survey for them but they haven't awarded the points for it. I still have their email which confirmed that I had completed the 7 days diary and I then completed a final survey, they did award me the points for that, but not the points for the diary. The points for the final survey were showing in my survey history list. But now they have changed the website and you can't see a list of your completed surveys. Their reply to my email was that I didn't complete the survey!
Have also emailed several times in the last week or two about surveys with "technical errors" or surveys that I have wasted a substantial amount of time on before being thrown off. Just get the generic emails in response.
I'm fed up to the back teeth now and will be cashing in as soon as I hit the next level, and then call it a day.
It's a shame because they used to be so good, but they are very unreliable now.0 -
I've been with My survey for years and the only problem I've had is that their surveys are too long for the amount they're paying. They've always given me points for completed surveys and paid up well in time.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0

I've never had any issues with MySurvey. When I've been screened out, it's normally only after a couple of questions. Never had any technical issues either. I find the points rack up quickly and have not had any issues withdrawing the points as Paypal vouchers either. That said, I've just done my first withdrawal in a while, let's see when that arrives!

I've been using My Survey for a few years now and have only had 1 or 2 surveys that haven't credited in that time. I usually manage to get at least £5 a week with them.SB 127x £5 AGC 13x £5 M&S 3x 3month XBOX Live Membership 8x £5 New LookGCVO 10x £10 AGC My Surveys 37x£5 AGCeBay 1159.880
