Ceiling Pull down switch help

Hi
I am trying to replace a ceiling pull switch in my bathroom. It is linked to an extractor fan.
I have bought a replacement but this one needs 4 wires and my existing switch has only 2 wires.
Is there a way to use this switch to replace the existing one? I have tried various combinations with no luck
This is a pic of the new switch

Many thanks for your help

You have purchased a high current shower/immersion heater pull cord switch.
You needed this type instead:
http://www.screwfix.com/p/mk-6a-1-way-pull-cord-switch-white/17309
The one you have may also offer slightly more physical resistance when operating it.
You can use the one that you have but it's probably best to buy the correct one.If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!

Hi Myser
Thanks for the reply
Those guys at B&Q told me to buy that switch
I'll get a new one0 -
Take it back and swap it for the MK one instead. B&Q do sell them but probably a little more expensive than Screwfix. Ironic as Screwfix are part of the same group as B&Q (Kingfisher)!
Don't go for the cheaper ones like Crabtree etc.
