Infuriating iOS7 Problem...

I'm hoping someone may have already come across this and found a solution they would kindly share.

Over the last few months I have been slowly transferring music, movies and TV shows I have bought into digital format and bringing them into iTunes to create a Home Sharing server.
Everything was going great until the first TV show went on there. I was aware of the ongoing out-of-order episodes problem and accounted for that while tagging the episodes. The episodes are all in the correct order but the series aren't.

This morning, on my iPhone with iOS7, it went like this, Series 5, 1, 3, 4, 2 while viewing it on my lad's iPod with iOS6 it went Series 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

So I've spent most of the day playing with tags, rearranging things, filling in various fields, clearing others until on iOS7 it now goes like this, Series 1, 3, 5, 4, 2 while on my lad's iPod it still goes Series 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

So, does anyone have any idea how I can get this in the correct order in iOS7 please? Thanks.

Hi,
It seems to be too early for others to be having the same problem. Usually discussions.apple.com/community/iTunes has the answers from other users, but nothing there at the minute regarding your particular problem :-(
If you get it figured out, can you post your solution in case others are faced with it?

I did check the Apple communities before posting here. If I figure it out I will post back here.

For those interested or having similar issues I've now tried this on the following configurations: -

2 * iPod Touch 4g's running iOS 6.1.3 - Series shows in correct order 1-5
iPhone 4 running iOS 7 - Series shows as 1, 3, 5, 4, 2
iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.2 - Series shows as 1, 3, 5, 4, 2
