I'm intrigued, what type of people do they like? Those who turn up and perform card tricks or sing a selection of songs from popular stage musicals? I'm assuming it's those who are meek and never question the wisdom of anything they suggest.

They might like, jovial upbeat humourous types, people who have the gift of the gab. It might be the meek silent types that they don't like.

Anyway what is the DMA ?

When I was on WP and had a change in advisor I insisted that the next appointment be made in writing with a colleague before I left the office.

Why do people on here feel the need to reply with sarcastic/ unnecessary comments. You clearly have been lucky enough not to have experienced the Work Programmes....well done you.

Most people who HAVE been on these courses will have seen some levels of unfairness in how they are towards people.

When I was on the course I managed to find a part time job, with no help whatsoever from the WP but I know that they will put down it was with their help that I got it. Well the job fell through as I was about to start and when I told the WP advisor this, she went on one and passed this onto the Job Centre and I was threatened with a sanction and had to fill in the forms and this was hanging over me over the xmas and about a month later I got a letter informing me that this doubt "no longer applies"

Another person on the WP at the same time as me got 2 jobs in quick succession (one required a CRB which the WP funded) and he backed out on both jobs. The same advisors reaction was "Never mind there will be other jobs, don't worry about it"???

I knew people on the corse who would disappear for 2-3 weeks and would return with thee lamest of excuses (One had been stayting at a friends house!!) and they would smile and continue.

It is well known that these courses are failing so people should not be shocked at reading about unfairness.
