They will con you.
Reading various accounts of easytobook.com it seems that they con everyone!
Just google easytobook.com customer reviews and easytobook.com reviews and you'll see what I mean.
Our story goes like this - I'll try to be brief:
Our apartment was cancelled with only a couple of hours to go before a VERY big white tie dinner at Mansion House.
Easytobook phoned us to say we had been put into a hotel (not what we wanted or needed) so could we go there.
We arrived to find that they were full, not to mention downmarket & dirty with rude staff.
EVENTUALLY easytobook.com found us another apartment. We went to a non-existant address.
We called and called but they ignored our calls.
We used another number and they picked up instantly.
They claimed to know nothing but we persisted so they gave us another (fake) address.
They stopped taking our calls.
They stopped replying to emails.
We spent a fortune on taxis chasing all over the city to where they told us to go.
We spent a fortune on mobile phone calls.
We spent a fortune eating out because the food we brought had to be thrown away.
So there we were, me recovering from a stroke with a disabled partner stranded in the city. All our cash spent on taxis to get us nowhere.
Needless to say the evening was ruined as was the next day.
We tried to complain but all of our emails and calls have been ignored.
We are taking legal action with the support of the OFT and Trading Standards.
So, in short, use this company at your peril!!!:mad:0 -

[FONT="]Dear Andrew and Michelle,
We are very regretful to read about your experience.
Our reservations team was in touch with you as soon as they were notified about the incident, we are sorry your calls to the accommodation were unanswered. If we were called right away we might have saved you from this hardship. Nevertheless we feel responsible.
By the way, we would like to explain that we don’t have a 24h helpline. As we explain in our website, our lines are open from 9:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 19:00 on weekend.
As you may know, we contacted the Apartments requiring an explanation as soon as we were aware of the incident. After several emails from EasyToBook, the apartments replied us explaining that they canceled your reservation due to an electricity problem and in consequence, they offered you 3 nearest Hotels. As you explained us later, the solution wasn’t feasible because the Apartments offered you one hotel which was also full, a second one that was miles away and you don’t recall anything about the third option. EasyToBook would have been happy to relocate you to any of our almost 1000 accommodations in London, which would have suited your needs.
Despite it was a shortfall of the Apartment, we regret that we could not have been more helpful and we trust you understand that we aim to offer our best. It is for this reason that we have contacted you to compensate you for the unforeseen expenses you incurred.
We hope to be of service to you again in the future.
Best Regards,

Never heard of these but after a recent massive let down by Expedia I would not touch these on-lines sites again, it's back to a travel agent for me.
I have used Expedia for many years and never had a problem, tailoring my holidays, travel and hotels to what I needed.....until the Iceland Volcano last year.
Luckily due to really extortionately high flight prices on Expedia I booked my main flights elsewhere and received instant refunds of the flights cost.
The hotel in one location, an internal flight and hotel in a second location were booked through Expedia.
When the Volcano erupted we were due to fly about two days later, our airline changed the flights to a later day and then it had to be changed again all the time the days were ticking by and if we had been able to fly and got new flights we would have had 2 days out of a 14 day holiday.
Basically when we went to cancel Expedia told us the booking was non-refundable (£4,500 of bookings). Expedia are impossible to contact on the telephone, do not respond to emails (if they do on odd occasions they do not answer your question) and do not reply to letters. Hotels and Airline did not want to know as Expedia were our agent and they said we needed to get refunds from them!
Luckily although told by the travel insurance we could not claim 'Act of Nature' they did come good many months down the line and we got all but £500 of lost bookings back.
So as far as I am concerned now I would rather spend a little more on my bookings and have the protection of a travel agent. You also pay these people the full balance just a few weeks before travel, whereas on-line want the full money on booking which means they have your money for months.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
