Satisfied Defaults Vs Unsatisfied

morning,
Sorry if i'm covering something that's already been discussed, however I've searched the forums and not been able to find anything that answers my question.
I have two defaults from 2009 (£796) & 2010 (£430) which are satisfied, and for what is worth i have an experian rating of 862 (Fair) for what it worth.
At some point in the not so distant future i need to remortgage my house into solely my name (i got the mortgage with an ex in 2006 when they'd give practically anyone a mortgage).
What i'm wondering is as the defaults are satisfied and aging, how damaging do you think they may be? Is a defaulted satisfied just the same or better than an outstanding default?
I haven't had a whole lot of credit in recent years, as I've been concentrating on paying off my credit debt I created in a drunken teenage haze:beer:, however I have one credit card account still open with £0 balance, which i plan to use to pay for petrol and pay off at the end of each month to show some good use of credit:A.
All advice appreciated.

Satisfied default is slightly better, but the presence of the default in any status is going to put you into the no-go or subprime lending market until they drop off.Still rolling rolling rolling......

Nah makes no difference...just wait till they drop off, don't bother paying them...no incentive0
