Goods bought online not arrived...

Hope this is the right place to post.

I bought some goods from an online shop (they also have a phyiscal store in the UK) by credit card via paypal 24 (calendar) days ago. It said goods would take 5 - 7 days to despatch.

The money has been taken but no goods yet, and no response from the seller to my email.

How long do I need to wait before taking it up with paypal or my credit card, assuming I still don't get any goods or response soon?

Under the Distance Seling Regulations (DSRs) you can cancel any time from ordering up to 7 workings days after dispatch for a full refund. I suggest you contact them now (by phone) and do that.

It would help if you said how late the goods are but in the meantime stick a claim in with PayPal that will wake them up and deciding on the sellers response you can decide what to do next.

as in my OP, I made the order 24 calendar days ago and goods said they would be dispatched in 5 - 7 days.

I suppose that makes them around 11 days late, if you take out weekends.

Oops sorry .

OK you have 45 days with PayPal, if it was me I would have the claim in now, declining the any offer to send the goods now. I think they ask if you want to cancel, just say yes.
