CSA question

BTW his gf has a good job and would bring home around £1600 to £1800 possibly a month if that makes any odds, she pays own rent and possibly get some state help also
And?? It is still his child, he has to pay for him/her.
It's not who earns more pays, there were 2 to tango there should be 2 to pay.
That is why CSA exists - to make sure people don't father/mother children and then expect someone else to pay for it. Even though they can pay for it themselves.
Once you have a child, as you know yourself, life is full of sacrifices. It is big decision and these things should have been thought of before.0 -
I cannot begin to imagine a situation where the grand and great grand are paying more than the father.....unreal, stop mollycoddling your son he needs to pay and you need to close your wallet/purseBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

CSA don't take any outgoings into account but they do make a deduction for overnight stays as long as it's more than 52 nights a year, this is to spread the costs of caring for the child between both parents depending on who is actually providing the care.0
