  • Hi all

Dumpling - that is disgusting. I'd be inclined to get the police involved anyway - it's assault no matter how you look at it.

Off to work again today. At the doctors first for a blood test. Eczema has been flaring up on both my arms so not sure how they are going to manage to get the needle in! Oh well!
Going to BF's dads after work as they are off on holiday tomorrow. Think I'm going to treat myself to a Chinese takeaway on the way home :-) haven't had one in months!

Hope you all have a good day!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j
  • Dumpling I agree with the others call in the police, and get her to the doctors so that you have medical back up.

Update: I've spoken to the head teacher who assures me she's going to deal with it this morning. She's going to speak to DD to get the whole picture and then take action. She has promised to ring me later to tell me what's going to happen. thank you everybody for all your messages of support. It meant a lot to both me and DD x

    Morning All

Dumpling, great the HT has taken it aboard, but get it in writing to her too, so she cannot claim she did not know in the future. Belt & Braces.

Camelot yes just happened to me too on the iPad.

Molly seem to have missed what happened with your cleaner, but hope you get sorted soon.

Well still unusually hot 30's out here, not complaining, but no good for Skye. Will cool down the the low 20's over the next day or so.

Not a lot to report, went for a cheaply Chinese with our Norwegian next door neighbours last night. First time we have eaten out since getting here, I did have the Spring Roll, but then had salad with mu Duck with Pineapple, and left the sauce, just had a coke light, not the wine, and black coffee for dessert, boring. Battery went on the scales yesterday, so replaced that the whole of 0.75c but not showing much if any loss for hardly eating, and minimal alcohol, so fed up about that. I have been swimming every other day got up to 42 (small pool) lengths the day before yesterday, plus walking more. Cannot swim fast as if I do my knees complain, I do ladies breast stroke, cannot manage front crawl. In a way I feel a bit like Julie, but a size up, I can stay at this weight no problems. But would like to get down a size for the wedding in April, but do not know which way to go now. WW I did not lose with, to be honest was not that dis-similar to my normal diet, LC usually does it for me, but not doing its stuff. SW. I really only like the red days, so not much different to LC. Last time I really lost it was on 800 calls, but I was 25 and more active then, and knees which did not complain, not sure I could face that again. I even thought about the hypnotic GBand, but was I can manage with not eating a lot, not sure what I would benefit by it. I suppose there is always the liquid diets. Sorry to moan, but now I am not enjoying going out as I have to think about what I can eat and/or drink.

(((Hugs))), Spoons, positive vibes, for all of you with something really to moan about/put up with. Take care everyone. DG

dumpling that's not bullying that's common assault and no way would I let my children ,now grandchildren ever be treated like that.If it didn't stop immediatly I would certainly invovle the police. It might put the bullies in fear of their own safety.I know I would have been horrified if it had happened to one of mine.Thats just disgusting to pick on a child.Zero tolerance is whats needed to stamp out this sort of nastiness in schools.I am sure the Head and Govenors and the local LEA wouldn't be happy to have their name splashed across the media. These nasty children need a short sharp lesson in justice methinks Grrr I am boiling just thinking about your poor little girl.I look after four of my grandsons before and after school full-time and have instilled into them from the time they started school that they neither did any bullying, or got bullied themselves, and if they saw anyone else in trouble they had to go straight to the head teacher or responsible adult.
The boys have grown up knowing that bullying is cowardly and obnoxious behaviour and no one should put up with it.
Gosh I'm foaming at the mouth here I know, but its one thing that I get very angry about.
I do hope you get it sorted today straight away

Well I have been flying around getting bits to take over tomorrow morning to my brother in France .His partner Sandra wants some spices and herbs that she can't get locally and David wants some tesco Red Label tea bags as the french stuff is weak as dishwater. They live in a very rural part of the Charente and the nearest supermarket is about 15 miles away and thats only like a small 7-11 shop a bigger one is in Poitiers but thats around a 90 mile round trip.So who ever goes to visit them usually takes stuff they can't get over there.
I'm hoping the weather will be nice I spoke to him last night on the phone and he said they still have their pool filled at the moment and its still quite warm enough for a swim :):):) So with luck tomorrow afternoon I shall be quaffing a glass of vino and maybe even having a dip:):)
Hope you all have a good weekend
    Cheers chums

Dumpling hugs for you and your DD. I am afraid that I would be involving the police, what those girls did was assault and quite frankly sickening.

Molly have a hug from me x

Not much going on here, waiting for dog food to be delivered, got the usual housework and tidying to do. Supposed to be torrential rain here later that should be fun walking Luna again.
Might make cottage pie for tea, haven't had one for ages and I bought some minced beef from local farm shop so will give that a try. I used to buy minced steak from Costco but nearest one is Bristol now and we hardly used our membership last year so think I will let it lapse.

Hugs and spoons all round xxx

Dumpling: It may be an idea to take some 'photos of the burns so that you have some proof.
