Our lurcher has a heated dog bed which he ignores preferring to curl up under the covers with Mr Zaxdog and I. add the two cats and it's all pretty snug :j

Where did you get the heated dog bed, zaxdog, if you don't mind me asking?

I got my cat a self-heating bed from Home Bargains, and he loves it! It's covered in fleece and has a padded bed covered in a thermal layer of some sort. He doesn't get off it in the winter. It only cost £3.99.

One of my dogs feels the cold and I bought her some dog jumpers to wear. I bought a heat reflecting blanket for my elderly cat and she loves it so am thinking of buying a couple more. They were on Amazon and they are made of the type of foil stuff they use to keep victims of shock warm.
I got told off by the hubby last year for leaving the heating on 17 during the day for the cats whilst we were at work.....

We had one of those. Until I overcooked it. :o

OH reckons I could burn water so I guess it's not too surprising.

In my defence, it went from being fine to being overcooked in literally a second or two. The plastic all kinda bubbled up on one side.

It may have still been fine to use but I just didn't want to take the chance of the weakened part bursting open one night and mutt maybe ingesting something he shouldn't.

Something to be aware of, though, thank you :o. Luckily I have a wussy value microwave so I hope I'm safe!
