Phishing Email - Help Needed

Hi,
I am in need of some techie advice. A relative received a spam email claiming to be from Amazon (it wasn't) which contained a .zip attachment called "Order-7R_-8965371-7781615.zip". Within the .zip attachment was an application called "Order Details". She double clicked on the application (presumably installing it) but nothing showed on screen.
Obviously this is a phishing attack but any advice on how to proceed or what this application can do? We have tried searching for the application (without luck) and disconnected from the internet and shut it down.
Any advice much appreciated.

The .exe inside the .zip is malware.

Update and scan with their installed antivirus, and also a quick scan with Malwarebytes.
