No letter yet as of today.
I rang the Mediation Service and as of yesterday the case is SETTLED. The person I spoke to said that's literally the end of it. I asked if I will be given a letter stating the court hearing is cancelled, she said NO.
What are the experiences of others?0 -
Wow - that is good news 'settled' can only mean cancelled!!! You might get a letter soon about it from ParkingEye saying some old rubbish that 'there is no payment outstanding on this account'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Excellent news. ParkingEye have been known in the past to 'forget' to cancel court claims even if a person has agree a paid settlement. However, in this case they appear to have remembered!Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -

I am really happy this is the end for us. Not yet though for the hundreds out there who have been slapped with court charges. It really must be big business for them -- at the cost of innocent people. I still hope we see the day that unfair parking charges are completely scrapped. Again, thank you all.0 -
