Talk talk cold selling

Beware of the Talk Talk cold sellers on your doorsteps they are persistant.

I had a knock on the door earlier and some spotty 18/19 yr old in a so called suit tried selling me their Talk Talk package. As i've just moved to Be Broadband and happy enough with BT/Sky I was not interested so made up some c**k and bull story about due to move and not interested in their product and so I thought that was that.

But No 5 mins later another knock on the door (answered as expecting parcle delivery today) and lo and behold another suited rep stating you spoke to my colleague blah blah and tried once again to sell me their package. Politely stated not interested and he still continued and this time quite forceful to sell the package. How I didnt say anything very rude i really dont know but what a nerve i managed to be forceful and polite and that was the end of it. But I can imagine some people who are timid etc could easily get drawn into buying the package, so beware the people of the Wakefield area for these !!!!!! and all other areas the reps for talk talk.

I was fuming for agaes after, how dare they...

Had them on my door step about 3 weeks ago - even though we have a sign right by the door bell stating no cold calling. He tried to say he was not selling anything ("so your giving it away free then are you" was my reply) then lied through his teeth telling me he was working "With" BT to make sure we were getting everything we were entitled to - even though he had a name tag on stating "Talk Talk" when I pointed this out to him he just repeated to say they were not selling anything. After 5 minutes of me politely asking him to vacate my property he was still there, so had to be quite "forceful" with the little scrote to almost physically eject him, then he got the message!!!!
  • I dont think they ever come round my house. Im at work during the day.
  • I got cold called by them a couple of years ago. nice girl. we chatted for ages and I did sign up in the end. Didn't find her pushy at all. I have had a few of their reps come to the door since then but when I tell them I'm already on TT they just leave. Other cold callers I just say firmly but politely "thanks but no thanks".
