As this poster says, S3 is more than adequate to use for email and directions.
I guess people's idea of going on holiday is different now, used to be about getting away from it all, relaxing, seeing the sights and re-charging your battery. But i guess some people just can't be without there net lifeline anymore. (sounding old i guess)Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

the S3 is a great phone and to use for the internet its great but the screen is too small and that is why i am thinking of getting a tablet or even a laptop. thoughts please

Tis a good topic. I'm torn between netbook and tablet. Netbooks have an inbuilt stand and you don't really need an extra cover to protect the screen. They also run proper OSes (Windows). But instant on with a tablet is handy. And loads of free apps. Hence 2 years later, I still haven't made up my mind.
