We are in the process of having a new bathroom fitted, we have white tiles on the wall, dark grey tiles on the floor, there's also a feature scored mosiac vertical stripe in the same colour as the floor. We originally picked white grout for all areas - but now having second thoughts for the floor but don't know what other colour to choose.

Any ideas - stick with white so its all co ordinated or put dark grey on the floor (more pracical - perhaps) and white on the walls - I'm just unsure which would be best

The tiles are

band - B0015524 - Antrasit Scored
floor - B0015095 - Antrasit

White on the floor shows all the dirt. Did a certain kitchen last year. Wife insisted on white grout. I said big mistake but you are paying. A month later I got a second conract to remove all the white and replece it with grey. Hubby said - "don't you dare say I told you so". :D:D

Think about matching the grout on the mosaic with that on the floor. Give your tiler a challenge but it is doable.

Check out the colour chart for Mapei Ultracolour Plus grout too.

    Cheers

I'd totally agree in a kitchen but in a bathroom it should be easier to keep clean but theres the chance for mould / black staining.

We have an ensuite with those long thin white tiles, with quite a light grey tiled floor.

Have contrasting dark grey grout for wall, and looks great (the floor grout is a pale grey which pretty much matches the floor tiles).

Agree, white grout is a nightmare....
