MSE & NPower
I do not understand why MSE so shamelessly "big up" Npower (and their 2017 fix) when I see the constant stream of issues/complaints and moans about them! One of the top switch sites even advised me against going for NP because of their reputation!
Whilst their 2017 fix may be the cheaper of the long fixes, surely reputation, customer service et al play some part in this....or is it all purely about hard cash saved?
Don't need an answer - just making an observation, and I am sure they are all as bad as each other!
Tread warily!

I don't know why they do, its a higher price for longer. I bet moneysupermarket are getting a big backhanderDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

you could say the same about Scottish power, e on EDF, british gas etc etc, all have problems,I do not understand why MSE so shamelessly "big up" Npower (and their 2017 fix) when I see the constant stream of issues/complaints and moans about them! as for the npower 2017, for those who are on it may save in the long run as prices will only be heading one way and that's UP, also its free to leave at anytime which is a bonus should a Miracle happen and prices fall
and for those who say prices may rise by only 10% that DOES not mean your tariff will go up by that it could be much higher, as someone I know found out when Npower hiked their prices it was more in the region of 18% when they checked the new unit rates last year (they have since switched to EDF)
there is a thread on here somewhere from a while back regarding prices hikes were more than the official statement for some people, so for those who just calculate 8-10%(assuming that's the official figure come this winter) into their figures should be careful as it could be a lot higher0
