will try and keep this short!
new laptop, had trial of office home and student on it, which has now expired, heard that office libre will suffice and is free
is there only one place to download it from (or, any dodgy places to avoid is what I mean)
how do I get the Microsoft message of "trai has expired,do you want to purchase product blah blah" to disappear? do I uninstall it, and of course, next question-how?
thank you in advance, you have been helpful and patient in the past with my ignorance!

Download Libre Office from here:
http://www.libreoffice.org/download
...and yes, you need to go into the control panel, then programs, then uninstall Microsoft Office1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
