    Sorry this is slightly off topic, I ordered an OOTW which I want to return, but I have no idea where my Boots card is (I got points on it online). Will they accept a return in store without it? I wanted to return it in person to make sure I get it refunded from my visa before I have it pay it, and I am worried if I post it it'll take forever to get there with the Christmas post and be refunded.

    yes you can return it instore - don't worry about your Boots card, just tell them you haven't got it with you when you take it into the store with your receipt to return it.

    If there is something you really want, it's worth considering buying it in the 50% sale that starts on Christmas day. The 75% online is totally unreliable (site jams/ crashes/ doesn't load etc) and there's no guarantee that it wd be in store by the 75%.

    If there is something I'm really set on having then I buy in the 50% sale (unless my store has loads left & then i'll wait for the 75% sale). If you buy in the 50% sale and there ends up being stock in the 75% sale of the item you want you can always take the half price one back :D

    I only started the Boots 75% craze this year, I knew they did it but this year was the first time I actively took part in it. I didn't know that they changed it because of the weather, makes sense I guess!

    In terms of the 75% off sale I will have a look at what I get for xmas, I got loads of toiletries for xmas and indeed I bought myself extra in the sales after. Ive managed to get through about 80% of it, not bad going I guess. I went into Boots 75% off with an idea of what I wanted and got just that, I will be doing the same this time round I shall be doing the same!

    It rarely changes, I would say it only changes in extreme circumstances.
    The last few years it has been very predictable on the same Wednesday each year and can't see it being any different this time around. :rotfl:
    Haven't decided if I'm booking the day off work yet, think I'll wait & see how much stock is left first and judge the situation nearer the time.

    We did actually have our annual snow fall here afew days after on the Friday, which you may remember the whole country was on amber alert for and even a part in Wales was on red alert for. I remember being stood outside Boots freezing, wondering why I was doing it! It was worth it though I got the No7 set for £16, the thing I wanted as well as afew other items. But yeah I will see what I get for Xmas and see whats left during Jan, if its rubbish I will leave it. I really want the Joules bag more than anything which at full price (£40) is to much so I will see how it goes

    EDIT - Is the No7 set in store now as predicted?
    :money::rotfl::T
  • can confirm the no7 box is £32 today instore.:)

    Worried hearing of bits missing, I've asked for one for Christmas so won't know until Christmas day :(
    I love their after christmas sales :D I always stock up on the shampoo and conditioner sets, found my all time favourite hair spray that way hoping to get some more this/next year :)

    Good luck with the Joules bag.

    Not decided what I want yet, Yankee Candles would be nice but reckon I'll be lucky if I get any of those.
