The Boots Christmas weekly Star gift thread

They also have absolutely loads of these left in the angel store.
Thought I would cave in if I saw any, but although the bag is nice ( much more practical shape than last year) none of the stuff is particularly exciting. Same as previous years and I still have loads left.
Think they should have mixed it up a bit more.
I like the smell, but as someone else has said, it all smells pretty much the same.

Yeah I think that's the plan really... I know that they have been much more precise with their allocations of stock this year, only sending out as many fragrance gift sets as they believe a store will sell.
To basically have nothing remaining for sales.

So I know it may be particularly hard to get a bargain fragrance set after Christmas, and all of the better, more popular Christmas 3 for 2 gift sets will be very few and far between.

In October our stock room was full of all the Christmas gifts, and yesterday I was clearing out the last few things and taking them out on to the shop floor to put them on shelf. So everything we have on shelf now is what is left. This next week will be the maddest as people do their last minute christmas shopping, and that will most likely clear us out of all the good stuff.

By Boxing Day it will be all the slightly rubbish and slightly tatty leftovers!

Whether there will be a good amount of stock available in sale on Boots.com is another story entirely. I think they've just been very smart about their stock and their profits this year.

Tough economic times I guess. In all honesty I have too much stuff anyway so it's not the end of the world but still keen to get some bargains.

Hoping there are some half price Yankee Candles to be had :T

You'll be VERY lucky if you get some of those! I bought a load back in October because we had staff double discount week then... And they were selling out then. Vanilla Cupcake sold out literally months ago, and the set of 6 votives did too.

The ones we have in stores and online now are kind of leftovers.

You'll have to be up at the crack of dawn when the sales start to try and get some! Good luck! I bought larges of every flavour so I'm well stocked up for the next year

You're probably right, there were some left last time I looked, not so bothered about the large jars but would like some tumblers & gift sets.

Does anyone know if the Sancturay offer is also available instore? I.e, the25% and 3 4 2? I never get to use my double points and money off voucher because I always buy online!

Hiya, do you mean it will go down further than the current offer? I would like to buy iit, but I don't need 3.

Yes, it will be going down cheaper than what it is now, my area manager told me that yesterday, he seemed to think it would be some time next week... And yes the 25% off is in-store too with 3 for 2, and you can use all your different relevant points vouchers
