Our larger store opens at 8am too, there's generally a queue of about 20 odd people before opening for the S&G OOW.
When it comes to the 75% sale there's usually 50+ people before opening, it's all very exciting & good banter!
I'm quite excited about the next couple of days, there's always a great buzz and banter like you said when there's a good offer on and everyone comes in for it! I'm next working on Saturday so it will be fun!0 -

The 75% sale's the best sale ever, I'm like a child in a sweet shop, can't sleep the night before. The banter & excitement in the queue makes it even better, it's always the same people queueing up every year with a few new faces to boot! Love the trolley dash & it's great fun! :T0 -

As above, the website went down at this time last year for the offer. I stayed up 'til 2am-ish when it was available and got it then.
Went in to collect it in store a few days later and they still had loads but I'll probably be staying up again tonight just to be safe!0
