I hope you get this sorted Skivey
payday loans - defaulted on 4 of them myself (me and OH) so I know all about them - they are EVIL!!

I have spoken to payplan, and they think its pretty irresponsible of them to not even accept my offer considering my circumstances.
They are going to help me with this and she said they will 'try' freeze interest and set up a payment plan to pay it.
Hopefully it can be smaller than I offered cos that would have literally left me with nothing.
Anyway, lets see what goes, will keep all updated.0 -
Finally got this sorted. I have a DMP set up, starts on 1st Jan, they said they would allow me to get christmas over with before we start!
What a weight off my shoulder!0 -

That's great news. Glad you got it sorted. Is your DMP through one of the free providers?

just to highlight a major flaw with any company you owe money to, they are useless in helping you until you have defaulted or missed a good few payments...it is rare to find a company that will stop interest before a payment is missed, and generally they will take a good few months to stop adding charges and interest to your account...otherwise i suppose anyone can phone them and say i dont want to pay interest anymore i will just pay back what i have borrowed and they would never make money. kind of a catch 22 scenegoal for 2014....i will manage money better ..must resist shopping..............:A0
