Don't trust anyone and keep advertising and viewing - their house could take ages to sell and may not be able to offer until it does. Another offer will come along soon I am sure.0

I was going to say exactly the same - if they love it they will come back and to be fair they should understand why it is still being marketed.
We had two couples interested in ours and the agent kept saying both would sell "any day". Eight weeks later and neither of them have sold. We had an offer from a different chap who hadn't even put his on the market and turned that down too. To be honest we were terrified but everything for a reason I really believe.
We accepted a really good offer last week from a local first time buyer without a chain :T

dont take it off the market, until your buyers are in the position to actually buy it can take a long time for chains to move, you may get a better offer in the mean time any how.
If their house isnt yet on the market then they are in no position for your quick sale."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Thanks for that folks. The last girl who put in an offer last week can only get an 95% mortgage and is now looking to see what she can do. I just feel so frustrated and barriers everywhere although I do strongly believe whats for me wont go by me.0

We offered on our house before ours was on the market, and it made us pull all the stops out, and we ended getting full price 3 days before officially coming on for sale. All depends on the local market.
Look at it this way. You sit back and relax with no more hassle of viewings, and they do all the work.Been away for a while.0 -
When I was seperating from my second husband we agreed to sell to a family that had not sold theirs - and only just placed on the market. Instead of watching my house I was watching theirs - anxiously waiting for a sale. This went on for two months then we got the agent to remarket it. He had to persuade them to drop their price etc and it was a very stressful time.
As it happened it worked in my favour as my miserable ex allowed me to buy him out and I got my lovely house !Stuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland
