Jet2 online checkin?

This is going to make me sound a bit simple, but I haven't done proper online check-in (e.g. no hold luggage) ever. I've always had to go to a desk to drop my bags and they've always confirmed things. We are flying to Krakow in December and it says if we check in online and have no hold luggage, we just go straight to departures with the online ticket. Does that mean we bypass all of the desks and go straight to security to get through to the departure lounge? Seems a bit weird to me...

Don't forget to print your boarding passes for the return journey too!
My hubby forgot once on a business trip and it cost him extra ££!0
