Buyer removing postage from invoice before paying?

Hi,

I sold two dresses on eBay and sent the winning bidder of both a combined invoice with £5 postage.

Looked on eBay today and they have paid but they have removed the postage so postage is free? How on earth did they did they do that?

Obviously I am not posting unless they pay me postage so I have emailed them but I really don't understand how they even managed to alter the invoice. I have checked all my eBay settings and I cannot see anything that is ticked/unticked that would allow them to do this?

Any one had this before?

    Didn't think this was possible.

Are you 100% sure you didn't make a mistake on your invoice?

Yeap, when I sent the invoice i cc'd it to myself and it definitely has postage included and I don't offer collection so no idea.

I will give ebay a call

    Hi,

This happened to me too but it shows free postage on the sold page also.
The original listing shows postage cost, no collection offered as an alternative. As those the link from ebay and paypal, however on the sold page it's free p+p as well as the amount paid also reflects no postage cost.

Please let us know what they say.

Check what you have received in your PayPal account. I've had this too but only when I've done a combined postage price. When checking on my app on phone is shows as free but on my laptop the postage shows, strange I know.

I do wonder though that as it shows free postage whether you get an automatic 5* rating for postage when they are leaving feedback for you.

In days gone by unless you had it set in your preferences buyers could actually change the postage themselves on the invoice,I think they did away with that thank goodness.
