Presumably you have Storage Heating on an Economy 7 tariff?

£190 for a March -June quarter in an all electric house sounds very reasonable.

The average household spends abour £1,000 pa gas/electricity and electricity is more expensive than average.

It is most important that you learn how to use Economy 7 correctly, otherwise you will have very heavy bills next winter. Avoid any 'topping up' of storage heating at daytime rates as this will cost serious money. If possible use washing machine in the E7 period - although in a flat this could cause a noise problem for you and neighbours.
