Park Resorts last minute offers

Not sure whether anybody has covered it yet (can't read 769 pages) but for those prepared to travel at short notice Park Resorts virtually gives away its short breaks outside of peak season with its last-minute offers.

We are off to the Isle of Wight next weekend having paid £75 for a two night break in a chalet, complete with free ferry. The ferry itself costs almost that much.

  • Thats quite a lot more than I'm charging.

Feel sorry for the owners of those caravans who are going to get a pittance for letting another family stay in their caravan.

I think I would be wary of Park Resort chalets. Built in the 1960's and from what I have seen are very run down.
    I prefer a caravan, a bit newer.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)
