Time to switch

Hi all,
So like many this time of year I have a dilemma switch. I'm currently on EDF fixed blue till april next year. When the deal ends the standard tariff will cost around 22% more than what I am playing now. Now luckily I only use around 1600 kWh of Electricity per year and 7000 kWh of gas so my total fuel bills are £540 per year. A 22% rise will bump this over £600 I grant you.
Now EDF have the fix till 2017 deal which is 30% average higher price than what I am paying now. If prices rise by 8% in the next month or so then the 8% would be absorbed in the fix, and if the prices rise again over the next 3 years I would have made the right decision.
I suppose I do sort if the know the answer but I would loose 6 months on my current rate so would have to factor in the extra 15% for the next 6 months.
So do I or don't I.
Any thoughts gratefully received and Many thanks
