Misinformation on Cheap Energy Club re Coop Energy

In the further info it suggests it's owned by shareholders not its members but it's not - it's owned by coop members http://www.cooperativeenergy.coop/why-us/why-we-are-different/

    And the sooner more folk sign up with the co-op and others, seems to me that the sooner "the big 6" will hopefully at least start to become more reasonable and more customer friendly
  • But this is a money saving forum - whenever I do a price comparison the co-op are way down?

    Wonder if it might be a variable depending on where you live? Tempting to prattle on about money saving not necessarily being a short term thing - but I wont in this particular forum.

    obviously it depends on your consumption. In my case it's between them variable price and npower fixed til NOv 14, there's only £10pa difference at current rates. Plus it's not just about money thats why mse has 'further info' about suppliers re the service they provide. Coop members get a few quid for using it too so difference for me is minimal at £480pa energy spend.
