Any Carbon Monoxide Alarm Deals ?

Options
Today we had the Fire Brigade around to my Grans to do a safety check and give her advice. They replaced her old smoke alarms for free..yay

The also recommended that we get her a Carbon Monoxide Alarm as she has a gas appliances.

Does anyone know of a decent CMA on offer at the moment ?

For those interested we ended up getting the FireAngel 7year life alarm. They were on 3for 2 offer at B&Q at the moment so £20 each whine is the cheapest we have fund it. We just split the cost between family members so 3 houses made safe in one go...result :0)

I bought the same alarm a few months ago. Recently it developed a fault whereby it bleeped every minute. I had to bury it in the bottom of the ironing pile as it was driving me crazy!

Anyway, I contacted their support line and must say they were brilliant. I returned the product to them (had to pay the postage, but oh well) and they replaced it a week later. This was even though I couldn't find my receipt/proof of purchase. A great service I think.

PS Keep your receipts somewhere safe in case the same happens to you.
