IKEA Oven, Confusion

Hey there,
Let me preface by saying that, as will no doubt be clear by the time I've finished this post, I'm a complete amateur in the kitchen and will be asking possibly silly questions.
I bought a "REALISTISK" oven from IKEA which I've now had for about a month. Today was the first time I needed to cook using two shelves, in this case, a bean burger and a tray of oven chips.
So, I refer to the manual as I remember seeing something about using multiple shelves. It says in the manual when using forced air mode (is that just "fan" mode?) that I should be using shelves 1 (bottom) and 3 to cook things on multiple levels.
I then look at the food packaging and it says for "fan ovens" the burger should be in the middle of the oven, and the chips at the top, neither of which are shelves 1 or indeed 3.
So, do I go with IKEA's instructions, or the food packaging? Does it matter?

It doesn't really matter. I have Ikea ovens and go by the packet instructions.
No disasters!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

You're over thinking it all!
The fan oven keeps the hot air moving around the oven so the shelf you use matters less. That said I cook chips at the top as they seem to need more heat. Your burger could then go in the middle or lower down.0 -
Thanks, Jbainbridge!
Thought I might be overthinking it. Glad to hear I don't need to worry so much!0
