Has anyone any info on the above? They have been advertising new boilers, insulation, etc, here in Cornwall for people on benefits. As my new tenants understood that they would be eligible for some help(being on benefits) they asked if they could contact the company in order to start the ball rolling.I gave my permission for the assessor to come and survey the all electric, older style house. The tenant was under the impression that they would be in line for, perhaps, a new fire, or new night store heaters, or even increased insulation and draught proofing.(We have just spent 000's replacing the front door and all the front windows with new UPVC) Several weeks passed without any contact until a week ago when the tenant phoned to say that the company had phoned to say that as there was no gas in the property, there was nothing that they could do. They mentioned the green deal saying that to install extra heaters in the bedrooms would cost me about £1500!! What was the point of all that? No report, no telephone call to myself, a complete waste of time. Can anyone shed any light on this company.Apparently they operate in conjunction with BG and Cornwall Council.
