Hi, I am hoping to paint a brass coloured light fitting I have to match my curtain poles. The light fitting is quite new and was not cheap so I wanted to have a go at painting before I splash out on a new one.
My curtain poles are 'burnished brass' a bit like the one of the link. When you look closely it looks like brass washed over with grey/black?

Does anyone know how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance;)
