Getting out of a lease early...Scotland

Hi,
Really need some advice as I’ve been losing sleep over this!
I've been offered a promotion in my work, higher position, more money, however it involves me moving to Aberdeen which I’m more than happy to do. I signed up to a 12 months lease in May to rent a flat in my current town. I’ve explained to the letting company that need to move to due to my work and I asked them to speak to the landlord to explain I need out asap to allow me to try and find somewhere else to rent in Aberdeen.
They have come back to say that they are not willing to let me out of the lease early and the only option is to find another tenant to take over the flat…this is fine and the agency is trying to find someone but I start my new job on the 14th October and I will not be able to afford my current rent along with another flat.
If they don’t find anyone to rent the flat what else can I do? I’m cannot pass up this opportunity with work…
Any advice would be appreciated…
Thanks

Renting in Aberdeen is very very expensive so well done on the promotion but you need to bat this back to your employer and state I cant move until may next year UNLESS you pay rent for my existing flat and find me somewhere in Aberdeen to rent ( They pay!)
They must be aware of the cost of renting up there and if they really want you ? They can find away to help you.
You signed a contract and the LL/LA can hold you to it0
